Prompt: Lyn said we left our window open. What kind of sounds might we hear? Are they different from our childhood?

I leave my window open. I hear the sound of cars going by. I may hear coyotes howling, tractors until midnight in the fields near by. Rain and thunder if it decides to storm. The sound of frogs. A raccoon making noises.

In my childhood, we had birds making noises and crickets. This was at my grandparents. The teen-age boy next door had a party and they got loud, opening beer bottles and laughing. Keep in mind I live in the country.
