Waiting to hear

I think it interesting that one of the more important faculties that we all have is our hearing. I have heard it said that in the average person it is the last sense to go. I wait to hear from the pulpit committee in one way or another. A part of me wants to know and another part of me is not to sure. It is a reminder of our own propensity to hear from people who are friends, family and co workers where we are at in relationship to them.
