If I were a Fairy

Hi my name is Mary
I wish I were a fairy
But I am just a child
Who sometimes goes wild

I love my little kitty
We live in a big city
Sometimes we like to play
It usually lasts all day

We play as if we’re magic
But we’re not and it’s tragic
A fairy I should be
For this I’ll beg and plead

My little kitty cat
Whose paws go pitty pat
If I had magic I’d make him speak
That would be so sheik

So I’m a fairy I pretend
I’ll play with magic till the end
My kitty cat will say
That I saved the day.
