A Valentine heartbreak

On the special day of Valentine
When things are supposed to be just fine.

I wonder what on earth has happened
You won’t touch me and you don’t spend

Money for a card or flowers
No I Love You’s and I feel sour.

I still love you but you have given up
On our love, you feel I’m corrupt

Perhaps I’ve done some things in the past
But I have changed and I want our love to last.

You look at me with pure disgust
It breaks my heart but I still lust

For you to hold me tight in your arms
To let me know there is no harm

Please don’t leave me all alone
I want to stay here in our home

Where we can share our love this day
But I think it is over, I heard you say.

My heart is broken, tears fill my eyes
For to me this is a surprise

This Valentine Day has been a bust
But my heart still stays with him I trust.

It always has it all ways will
Even though he hates me I love him still.
