Summer at the Shore By Lisa Noe Looking in the face of summer I see the sun so shiny, Sparkling bright Upon the shore. The seagulls glide above In the heavens so blue. Old glory waves and whips In the wind valiantly. Dolphins in the deep Leaping from the ocean With a splash leaving all Watchers excited by the tricks. Blue crab and jelly fish swim Close to the sand; While children build sand-castles And sea-shells dot the beach. A long pier stands strong for fishermen. Boats race across the water. These are the days of summer at The shore, tis a savory site to see. 27 lines |
