In your absence I find myself alone
Never quite feeling as if I’m at home.
Without you here I am lonely and sad
I miss you dear, my life is so bad.

In your absence I count the days till death
So we can be together again my dearest Seth.
You left me one evening on your way home
When a vehicle struck you while you roamed.

I loved you so dearly now we are apart
I can’t seem to make a new start.
In your absence I pray for comfort
All I have are my memories and a broken heart
