Homeless on the street and hungry
Or lost our home or life in a fire
But for not the will of God This could be us
No children to call our own,
Or to lose a child to death.
To lose a battle with cancer
To lose an arm or leg
This could be us
To walk everywhere without transportation
This could be us
So many bad things could have happened
But for the will of God they did not
But they could we are none better than those
Who trouble befalls, this could be us.
