Life’s Dance
By Lisa Noe*Cat*

Through a tunnel we arrive
To see a new world, wow surprise!
Sitting is the first thing we learn,
Oh proud parents how you have yearned.

Crawling and falling and learning to walk;
We struggle for months till we learn to talk.
Across the floor we toddle
With a cute little waddle

We learn to ride a bike
And in the woods we will hike.
We learn to show grace under fire
As we travel life’s roads entire

We find hurdles everywhere we look
All the good things that we took
As we learned to dance with highs and lows
‘Til we find ourselves in the tunnel which death bestows.
