Napowrimo # 65 April 29, 2016 Words: 87 Lines: 14 Little birds take flight By Lisa Noe ![]() feathers flying from the nest they are trying to do their best. Little birds it’s time to leave Time to take flight from the tree Mother has fed you beak to beak Now it independence you seek Blue bird, red bird, the black n yellow They are all such sweet little fellows. Find some berries or juicy worms The thought of that makes me squirm. Build your little clever nest In the strongest oak forsake the rest. Delicate your hollow bones You will make your own home. |
