Obligated but not fenced in
How did you get out of something you were obligated to do?
I'm behind in a lot of work this week (must be spring fever) so here goes trying to answer this:
It has been awhile since I was really obligated to do anything. Years ago before college I was a cub scout leader, leader of a church youth program, sang in the choir of church, worked in a shop for a few months, worked in donut shop for 3 years, raised Children.
Obligated: bind or compel legally or morally (definition from google)
I try to keep all bills paid, pay taxes, show up at family gatherings (defined by my children and their children) I always went to work on time rarely asked for special time off.
Life is full of le'ts get it dones. So I tried to keep up. So, I'm looking back, I think I'm like a lot of people I keep on keepin on until I can't keep on any more.
I rarely wiggle out of anything if I can't do it I say so and explain why it is easier that way. Just talk to me I can talk?
