As a writer, I say something or read them a poem I wrote and some people get it and others don't. I work in mental health, so I know the difference between reality but sometimes the people I take care of make sense. Some people love crime shows. Not me. Give me "Once Upon A Time", supernatural, medieval, Jane Austen time. No two people are alike. It takes different kinds to make a world. I love Alice in Wonderland and things weren't normal there. I could have fun there. I have fun as a writer. I don't like writing reality. So, this quote works for me. Reality and news is depressing. I have always liked the fictional world. Being creative and thinking fantasy thoughts makes me, me who I am. As writers, I am sure you agree.
