Mudita
Prompt: Mudita comes from a word meaning giving someone pleasure and doing things for them. Joy asked how we do this for others.
Helping out strangers like if they want an item and they are in a wheel chair in a store. Letting a person grab the last item of something you wanted and just smile and let them have it. A man asked me at WalMart where to find Adult Stress Relief Coloring Books and my mother told him where he could find them.
Giving a dollar or two for a good cause. Leaving big tips in restaurants. Holding a door open for someone. Spending a lot at a party to help out the hostess. Winning a prize and giving it to someone else who really wants it. I did this with a centerpiece at a Christmas party when I won it. A woman wanted to bid on a Teddy Bear for her granddaughter and I had bid on it but I decided to let her have it. I have enough stuff.
This is some of the things I have done that fits the prompt.
