Day 11 - 13 Days of Halloween - Party Interrupted

Ghosts and ghouls gather in the haunting hour
They raise their glasses and drink
There smiles twist into something dark
As they move into the party
And begin to mingle with the unsuspecting guests.
The music billows and flows
Laughter rolls out and dances off the walls
until the scream is heard
It rips the night in half
And drives the revellers into a panic
Each running
Each screaming
Each unsure of what has happened
But something has happened
Something will never be the same again.
A vampire stands in the middle of the chaos
A woman in his arms
Her head lulled back
Her neck pierced and bloodied
The vampire smiles
His lips drip with her blood
As his passions are satisfied
At least... for the moment.
