Self Reliance

Prompt: Lyn asked us to write about self reliance.

We need to take responsibility and do things for ourselves in life. My mother didn't learn how to drive and Dad wouldn't let her work and she has to depend on my father. She sold Avon and I helped her with deliveries. Self reliance gives us independence. If I didn't drive, I wouldn't get my scrapbook supplies, be able to shop or go to Barnes and Nobles or work. I have had to drive my husband after a couple of procedures and surgeries so we have to have some self reliance. It is the rule of survival unless you have millions and can pay others to do things for you. Self reliance builds character.
