The Good Seed’s Name

Names, Names, It’s not a game
We’re named different not the same.
You call me Sally, I’ll call you Sue
I have the same last name as you.

You are my sister and my friend
And on that end you can depend
I’ll always be here for you
And I know you’ll be there too.

Grand pa and Hubby shared a name,
Name was John, from the Bible it came.
Mother married her one true love
She took his name, it fit like a glove

Now names never confused anyone
It let us know how we’ve begun
In ancient days they were called one name
But today first, middle and last came.

Names are important this you should know
They follow you every place you go.
A good name is what you need
Because you are a good seed.
