A regular (hopefully) muse on my journey through the Rising Stars programme |
Well, I don't know where this month went to. Here I am on the last day, remembering that on the first day I had vowed to come here more often. Guess what, I didn't! I hate my ADHD brain sometimes, I swear that it just climbs out while I'm asleep, goes walkabout and doesn't bother to return for days. I don't have a clue what I'm doing or should be doing then until it returns, then I realise I'm running out of time to get it all done. It means that I end up doing everything at the last minute. I realise that I've missed the Rising Stars Deadline for the Shadows and Light Poetry Contest. The contest is still open so I'm going to have to have to see if I can still count it towards April's set activities. My life is full of surprises, I popped along to the practice session of the Folk Band that I haven't had a chance to be a part of this year to find that they had a gig two days later, so my writing creativity was temporarily poured into musicality instead. I play the Accordion and it's a lot of fun especially as I try to keep up with the fiddle players who play so much faster than I do. So here I find myself back on the Island of WDC wandering through the towns and cities just looking at the wonder of this place again. I'm still amazed at what I find! Angel |
