My time with Mama

Mother you are my best friend
I enjoy every moment we share
And on you I know I can always depend
You were always there to let me know when to beware.

I trusted in you, and you have never let me down
You share with me our memories of the past
You take my frown and turn it upside down
You make happiness common place and it lasts.

When I cry or I am sad you dry my tears
When I laugh you throw back your head and laugh also
I want to have you for a hundred years
If I lost you I guess I would die, or something, I just don’t know?

We play games,
We eat our lunch.
I can’t call you by another name
But mama, ‘cause I love you a bunch.
