I am a teardrop
Falling down her face
I am sadness
She can’t escape this place
If she leaves, will she surely die?
Running, hiding, searching for a home
Listening to his countless lies.
What can she do?
Where can she go?
She has shed tears, more than just a few.
She looks out the window
Only fear is what she knows
All she can do is say HELP me!

Author's Note:

This is a work of fiction, written in the perspective of an abused female who feels trapped and desperately wants to escape but feels she has no place to go. although this work is fiction this takes place daily by countless women and also men!
