Giving and serving
Tolstoy was coming from church early morning.

On the way he saw a beggar asking some money.

Tolstoy could not ignore him as he was at that time filled with great devotion

and joy after his morning prayer. He searched his pockets for some money.

Once, twice, thrice, but there was nothing. He got little disturbed.

While he was repeatedly putting his hand to all pockets, coat, pant, shirt,

he beggar stopped him and said, "thank you so much, no problem.

You searched, wished to give, isn't it enough?"

It brought tears in Tolstoy's eyes.

He immediately hugged the beggar. Tolstoy said he didn't give anything

but the beggar gave him so much!

Without giving it can be giving. But giving so much without good intention is no giving.

Giving and serving is most Satvik and pure work.

Giving simply happens the moment your intention is for giving.

Bodhisatva says, keep on distributing what you have, you will see the energy

keep moving towards your bag and it will get full in no time.
