Hope
I can’t change the world
Only my little portion of it
And the piece I share with you

I speak the words of strength and peace
This day I change the world
Not just the part I share with you

Hatred never a problem solves
Time alone cannot heal the wounds of war
To bring a new life between we two

I come forward with arms wide open
To receive and share this precious gift
This blessed love I share with you
