He found a journal on the train.
Wonder who's this is?
Opening the book, he looks at
the inside cover to find a name.
Kady Lane
Simply written there. Wonder who
she is or where she is at this point.
He looks around for a lady
who might look like a Kady.
No one else on the train at this
point. So he took the book with him.
As he emerged from the train
he began searching for the
author of the book he held.
Suddenly the book was snatched
from under his arm. He now wished
he'd held it tighter.
What was he to do, who took it
who was the blighter?
Following the person running from him
he caught up and grabbed the book back.
The man stopped and turned around
looking at the man with the book.
The two of them met eye to eye.
The book between them held tight.
"Why did you take this from the train?"
"Because I am going to find who it belonged to."
"You can't do that. She's long gone.
I just want the book back, please."
"Who are you to have this book? How do you know
what's happened to the author?"
"The author is my sister, and she's dead.
It's all I have left of her, please"
can I have it back."
The man with the book looked into the eyes
of the man who lost it. "Here"
