October 4 – Theme or Moral of the Story

The theme (or moral) of this story is going to be two-fold. The first is that with perseverance and prayer and hard work, and being unashamed to ask for help, you can make your dreams come true. The second is that even in the Mystical Realm, there is a place for God to be the central part of life. However, it is not revealed to Siobhan that the creatures in the Mystical Realm are Christians until the end of the book.



Ways Conflicts Can Be Resolved Within Confines of Theme

 Prayer could be the answer to one task
 Refusal to give up could be the answer to another task
 Hard work could be the answer to a third task
 Breaking down and asking for help could be the answer to another task
 The fifth task may only be solved by a combination of the previous four ideas – refusal to give up, asking for
help, hard work and prayer.
