Kisses Of Fire

We are a lot older now but do you remember
those kisses of fire? Burning, burning, I was at the
point of no returning. A kissing session in your car
at your brother's wedding. You were the best man.

I was the Maid Of Honor. I thought I was falling in
love with you. You never called. I fell in love with
one of your friends and married him. You married someone
I never liked but after my house fire, we all became friends.

Being out with you and your wife last week, we were always
friends and your wife and I are friends. Caught in a landslide
of emotions years ago. I am glad we are still friends and you
are still friends with my husband. You invited us out last week.

Here's to our friendship. I will always remember your kisses of
fire and now I share them with my husband. Thank you for all the
memories. We are with who we were meant to be with. Thank you for
being my good friend all these years. You are a great friend.
