A happy year
that's new and clear,
so full of cheer
and free from fear
with you, my dear
and wondrous near,
my loving peer.
What joyous days
to sing God's praise
through phrase on phrase
the world amaze!
We bask in rays
without delays
to walk His Ways.
Quite soon they're o'er,
but there'll be more,
the open door
to do the chore
or cross the floor
in days of yore
on mem'ry's shore.
