Venom

I trusted you, but you took advantage of me.
You walked silently behind me, destroying all I had.
You stole from me, and vandalized my home.
I am nothing more than a prisoner of your devious mind.
I have been robbed of all that I have, and all I spent my life saving for.

I was good to you and I treated you fair,
You turned around and led me to your lair.
You can’t be human, for your heart is black.
You spewed venom all over me with your wickedness.
I am but a prisoner and I feel you hovering over me always.



this poem is based on a true story of a person who robbed my home.
