Independence, Happiness

Prompt: "Independence means happiness." Susan B. Anthony Do you agree with this quote?

If you have a good job and a lot of money, you could be happy. If you want love, marriage, children, well being independent may not be the answer. It is nice if a woman has her own money and doesn't need anyone special, independence is a sure thing. We do need responsibility and goals and not everyone can be independent. It depends on what you want out of life. Independence and happiness can mean different things to other people. This is how I see this quote. I do admire Susan B. Anthony for her views and getting the women the right to vote. Being independent was happiness for her.
