The leaves fell from the trees
The flowers go away with the snow
makes me happy to see the trees sappy

a tristich, a poem in 3 lines.
metered, iambic trimeter lines. uS-uS-uS.
composed with internal rhyme in each line.
designed for the last line to leave the reader thinking, questioning.
