Little boy on the news

Little Boy on the News

One Sunday evening as watched the news
I saw a disturbing story of a little boy who walked
Out his back door, he was only twenty-two months old.

It was very chilly and rainy in the mountains
He walked in terrain were there were terrible cliffs.
His parents were very fearful for they said he was curious.

Many men and women searched the mountains near his home
They did not know how far the child could roam.
I feared to myself, someone must have stole the baby.

The state police looked far and wide and I believe they thought maybe.
The parents were distraught just as you may think
Knowing any moment that their hearts would sink.

But on that Wednesday afternoon in the month of May,
Don’t you know they found that child in the densely forest woods.
A Miracle was seen that day and everybody thanked God .

For that tiny little child lost for days in the cold, rainy dense woods of
The Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky .
God watches over those who love Him and remember His name.
