I write because I feel the need.
someone, maybe God planted the seed.
I need to present myself in words.
display myself like a buffalo herd.

I sing a song of sadness, my words tell my story.
They tell a life of someone who's been played with like a toy.
I've been robbed of my trust,
but still I love, I must.

I write because I'm filled with so many feelings and thoughts.
I will tell my story before the bad in me rots.
I express my feelings, be they mostly love.
Thankfully I'm filled with joy from up above.
