His Pilgrimage: To The Bab
His Pilgrimage:
To The Bab
In October 1844,
the Bab,
accompanied by Quddus,
begin His pilgrimage
to Mecca and Medina.
In December 1844
He arrived in Mecca,
circled the Ka'bih,
and at the Black Stone
He spoke to another pilgrim:
"...Verily I declare, none besides Me in this day, whether in the East or in the West, can claim to be the Gate that leads me to the knowledge of God. My proof is non other than that proof whereby the truth of the Prophet Muhammad was established..."1
In January 1845,
the Bab arrived in Medina
where he completed his pilgrimage
before returning home.
