We live much of life amid unique choices. Joy is anchored in The One beyond our life. |
The burdens of this daily world are heavy to be borne. Without some Helper, burdens hurled, my life would end as worn. I'm standing strong when bowed before "the mighty Hand of God." He'll lift me up as I implore His Strength on shoulders broad. "To cast my cares upon Him, all," it really seems a lot, but since he cares for me to call, He's all, that I have got. He's all, that I have got, REJOICE! He's all I'll ever need! He's all I need, my greatest choice, The One, Who full did bleed. He bled for me upon the cross to pay my Sin-Debt Full. He "slept" a day, then tomb's rock tossed to make me white as wool. Oh, why should I, my burdens bear when He, my Sin-Debt paid. My needs are His great Joy to care through pow'r so fully displayed. The burdens of this daily world are heavy to be borne. This lovely Lord His strength unfurled, that sunny Easter's Morn! ---------------------------------- "6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
