Mother Knows Best

Prompt: Do you think a mother knows best?

When I was a teen-ager, my mother said I wore my skirts too short, wore too much make up and didn't like the guys I wanted to go out with. She said they were wrong for me and she was right. In high school, short skirts were in and so was make up. I lived with my grandma, too and I got it with both barrels but I got my way. I am glad I didn't marry any of those other guys I went out with. Mother and Grandma knew best about them. I talk things over with Mom all the time and don't always agree with her but she is there for me and I am thankful for her. I always will be.
