Mom's Love

What wondrous love Mom gave to me
throughout my childhood years!
She lift my eyes and caused me see,
"There's hope beyond your fears."

Mom gave her love throughout my youth,
preparing me to leave.
"The Bible's God's One Standard Truth.
Neglect it and you'll grieve."

Mom gave her love to cross the miles
to reach me where I'd live.
Committed she through tears and smiles
great daily strength to give.

Mom gave her love throughout the years,
until she breathed her last,
that when my face, it finally clears,
her love is still so vast.
