Aroma of the land

Aroma of the Land

A butterfly flutters it’s wings in place
While hiding within a lavender Orchid
A misty rain drizzles across the land
And a bluebird sits upon a Hydrangea

A lone Peony leans to the ground
And honeysuckle drapes over the fence
The aroma all around the yard is incredible
Sounds of birds chirping and a dog howling fills the air

The musical notes of a Sparrow entrance its listeners
And as the rain comes to an end
A colorful rainbow streams across the sky
Offering a promise of s new tomorrow

The mountains grow dusky dark as the sun fades
Until it rises again the very next day.
This is a promise from our Lord
Believers shall live again.
