What Distracts Us From Writing

Prompt: Joy says a cat can distract us from writing. She asked what else can distract us from writing.

My cat rubs against my legs when I am at the keyboard writing. She brings me her milk ring to throw for her. The phone will ring. A farmer coming down the road in his tractor with his combine can be annoying. The farmer in his field by my house. A helicopter flies over. It thunders and rains. If my husband is home, he will yell back and ask a question. One time, my friend calls me and I am on the computer and he brings the phone to me. LIKE REALLY? I will talk to her later. Someone knocks on the door. Birds are making noises outside my window. These are things that distract my writing.
