Holds and Happiness
"It is well to have as many holds on happiness as possible." Jane Austen

In Jane's time, happiness meant well married but if a woman wasn't in love or happily married, she would be miserable. Jane didn't always get along with her mother but she had her sister, her brother Henry to turn to and her writing. Jane was happy with all this even though she never found her Mr. Darcy. She was happy with what she had. She loved drinking tea. Writing. Writing is a refuge and comfort and anyone who loves to write finds happiness in writing. I know I do. Pray and find happiness and do things you love. We may be surprised at where we will find our happiness. Hold on to your dreams and with everything going in the world, this, too will pass.
