Contains at least three tercets not more than eight
The first two lines of each tercet contain eight syllables
The third line contains three syllables.
scheme is: AAA/BBB/CCC/etc.
Can be about any subject

Free my Soul

Today I got the saddest news
As I sit on the wooden pews
I shall choose.

In my church, I look for you
No matter what you say is true
Say I do.

You’ll brighten up my darkest day
With every word, I hear you say
We will play.

Together we will make a life
We’ll never be bogged down with strife
Our Love’s right.

On this sad day, you rescued me
Now my sweet soul has been set free
I now see.
