Darkness gathers around me like a cloak, I pull it close and pass through the inky drape; Invisible until my breath clouds are caught, In a swath of silvered moonstream. I leave them suspended, the heaviness of the dew Will weigh them groundward, Anchoring my desires. The leaves mutter in the breeze, Answering the flutterings of my soul.
