| It’s polite to say goodbye before leaving me with just an indentation in the mattress (no, it wasn’t new and neither was I but now it’s only half a bed just me and the shape of you) and a note scribbled under “To Do” on the white board stuck to the fridge. It’s a matter of etiquette, that complimentary closing.
