The Savior Gives

Lord, you’re the Savior that I hold,
With you, I am so strong and bold.
Never cold.

You take my hand, lead me through life.
I won’t be ruined with that pride.
I won’t hide.

Step by step you stand by me now,
Won’t do anything, you don’t allow.
Tell me how.

You touched me with your forgiveness.
In my heart I know I’ve been blessed.
Love expressed.

You unselfishly gave me love.
This love was given from above.
Like a dove.




This poem is a Lanoe form of poetry
which is a form I invented in July 2020
It contains at least two stanzas no more than eight
they rhyme scheme is AAA, BBB, CCC, DDD,etc.
syllable count of 8/8/3 per stanza or tercet. (three-line stanza)
