Shakespearean Sonnet: "Alone, But Never Alone"
Each day I sit alone to think and write.
A diamond forms within the subject chose.
Bequeathing life to ev'ry hope or plight,
the lonely space is filled with words like those.
My haven takes the shape of couch or chair.
The words are lent to me to make a point.
Emotions color ev'ry thought I wear,
and friendships glue each word and concept joint.
Each twist and turn, a maze of thoughts to grasp.
Alone I sit, but ne'er I feel alone.
The Lord's within. His wisdom makes me gasp.
These writing truths help me to feel I've grown.
Deliverance from loneliness in crowds
lifts peace aloft to wondrous writer's clouds.
