Daily Blessings

I got a blessing today, even when things didn’t go my way.
I know that God is with me, wherever I may be.
Although at times I feel so sad, I know that all is not bad.
My lover has been taken away, I miss him every day.
But God is still on my side, and in my heart, He resides.
I know He will help me through this Because our love I can’t resist.
I hear my heart beating in my ears, I feel it stronger over the years.
This God knows our hearts, and will not keep us apart.
That is why I know I have a blessing and all the love it brings.
Each and every day I have God’s love, and the man He gave me from above.
