It’s bound in leather with words of gold
A book that’s given and not sold.
Worthy words worth more I’m told
Then all of the gifts that are shown.

I love the lessons that God does teach
The many words the pastor will preach.
He shows the way of the world I reach
Compassion and love will beseech.

Proverbs, psalms, and Laws of Faith
These are the things that God does sayeth
Together forever we shall always be brave
Obeying the Lord without being afraid.
