If you haven't yet caught on, this is, in fact, a blog which serves to house the thoughts that will not fit in the cubicle that is my head.

A PLEDGE
I, <insert my name here> (he, he, he. You thought I was really going to tell you, didn't you? Not that it isn't pretty obvious, but...) PROMISE never, ever, ever, ever, ever to take life seriously. I PROMISE never to bore my readers with the useless garbage of my every day life, or with sappy emotional crap that no one cares about.

One last thing. The first entry of this blog "Just who the hell am I?" is something of an identity revealing...uh...thing, i guess. So, um, read it!

Hey Meg,

That's been tried before. Have you seen the movie "Escape from New York"? That was a nonfiction account of New York back in the 1970's. They stopped the experiment in the 80's and cleaned the place up a bit, but it failed because people still wanted to see the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. Tourism didn't drop and there were a lot of rapes, robbery's and murders of innocent tourists. If you don't know the movie, rent it. Snake Plissken was elected mayor for one term in 1982.

Well, that said, WHY should anyone have to understand their car any better than they do their toaster or microwave, these days? That's what mechanics get paid the big bucks for, right?

::shrug:: Like I'm going to learn all about how a hybrid engine works, just because I'm driving one. Nope. Or how to change a tire - that's why I have AAA.

These seem good to me. I especially like 1, 2, and 6. I'd think #1 would be worse than Chemistry. I'm sure I'd like to practice #2 provided the thongs are attached to females. I laughed at #6.

I'm not sure why they weren't good enough where they were. It's too bad they couldn't give you the reason why they erased them. Oh well, I enjoyed them and I don't need to see theirs if they think yours don't qualify.
