No they're not. I'm guilty of it too sometimes, for sure. Sometimes it takes me a while to say thank you for things... that's life.

It sounds also as if you are a bit of an empath...the negative energy is really easy to absorb into your life. I can relate to that, and like you, I am an upbeat person, and prefer to be around positive energy.

When I'm around negative energy, if I am not careful...it can literally drown out any positive energy. And if I am sick, or depressed, fugetaboutit!
