I think we do forget to be in the moment. We see the big picture as overwhelming forgetting that all the little pieces are what makes is special in the moment. I know I'm guilty of that a lot.

Absolutely! I agree with you. After a certain time in our lives, circumstances permitting, we can create ourselves. The problem, if there's a problem, lies with our paying far too much attention to what others may say. As you pointed out, mostly, external creation leads to self-creation.
Awesome response. The poem Wasteland poem was also written shortly after the ending of World War I and there were many areas that looked like wasteland so it's an effective reminder of what man is capable of doing. Also in earlier times when battles were more dependent on good weather typically April the troops would stir after their winter encampments and begin fighting again. Another sad reminder of man's creating wasteland and burials of the dead.
In Japan I saw very old trees. In the USA trees are not always valued for their "inner spirit" nor the joy they give others. One tree I saw in Takayama was 800+ years old. Americans cannot fathom that.
Not only do you summarize one of Chaplin's movies - City Lights (and I do believe the flower girl was blind) - but you manage to weave in Chaplin's life story and why 'The Tramp' was created in the first place.
He came from nothing and became such an icon, all while showing the world that you did not have to lose your humanity in the process.
Thanks for joining me in celebrating Charlie Chaplin's 136th birthday with your tribute!
All the best moti. I am sure this will turn out to be a very fulfilling phase of your life. There's no substitute for being fantastic at what you do. Explore the depths of your own subject but also have a wide ranging set of interests in other related courses, because nothing works in isolation. The complementary knowledge will help you become better in your own specialization and give you perspective. So be interested in anything that can offer you intellectual stimulation; Even if it may seem to have no direct relevance to your studies. Discover what you're willing to stand up for and come out of this journey as a person with incredibly integrity and humility. We don't lack intelligent or passionate people in our country, we lack people with integrity who put their honor where their mouth is. I know you'll make us all proud. I see you as a person capable of ushering in change in our society. I'll take this moment to tell you that you inspire me as a human being, not because you're my sister. But because as a young 21 year old, you're committed to causes you believe in and are not scared of putting in the effort to work for it. Do what you think is right, don't adopt others yardsticks of right and wrong. Reason it out for yourself, follow your instinct and stand by it. Even if it's different from what the rest of the world believes, including us. Also, remember that there's no shame in changing what you think or believe, as long as it makes sense. That's a sign of you eveloving as a person. Try different weird, eccentric things and keep an absolutely open mind. Explore art, music, different skills and never settle for anything but the best. Not the best clothes or accessories, but the best of books, art work, an instrument you might choose to play, in short the best of whatever you set your mind to pursue. Choose to invest in growing as a person. Only then you can offer that service to your family or the society. And don't be afraid to fall because that teaches us to learn to pick ourselves up. Most of all remember, that no matter what you do, we're all always there for your and will have your back. Derive your strength from this. So much love to you 😘
One more thing, along the way you'll realize that even the strongest people are very fragile and can break down in a moment over the smallest things they are sensitive to. So be witty, cheeky, and funny but above all, choose to be kind.
