And I am a material girl

Went to the Post Office (special post mark for NO DRUGS DAY), School, Friend's house, clothes shopping.

I like to get my clothes stitched, as I have mentioned before, and getting the fabric is tough. Found a place which sells unstitched fabric by the 'set' - that means you get co-ordinated fabric for the top, the trousers, and the 'dupatta' (also called chunni). Now being a bigger size and wanted long sleeves, I have to combine the material of the top and the bottom and then have some left over. It leads to some interesting results. Let's see what happens this time. Bought one orange and one blue set.

Also, I've been needing new nighties (I still wear some of Mom's which I've been wearing since she passed away in Dec. 2006. I know, I know, that's a long time to wear nighties.) Cot a couple of readymade nighties (one red, one yellow) which fit me.

As the singer Madonna would say - I am a material girl (though we don't live in a material world according to this context!)
