*Rabbit2* *Teapotb* *Cheshire* M..." Chapter 1: Mona Enters WDC-land Mona was getting very tired of sitting gazing at her computer screen, with no ideas about what to write. In desperation, she keyed in 'writing inspiration'. Suddenly, Mona found herself flying, flying, flying ... soaring high above the clouds. "I must be higher than the highest bird ever flew," Mona thought. At first, the great flight was exciting, but then she found herself growing bored. "If only I'd get there." Get there, she did. It was on Cloud #9 that she finally landed, and all around her were pieces of cake and bottles of juice. Upon drinking the juice, she grew taller and taller. Upon eating the cake, she grew smaller and smaller. Finally, in exasperation, she grabbed the only piece of pizza in sight, chewed and swallowed it - and became just the right size to enter a door marked WDC-land. Chapter 2: The Mad Power Tea As soon as she stepped through the door, Mona heard a voice saying 'Eyestar! Eyestar!' "What a lovely voice," Mona whispered to herself (indeed there was no one else to whisper to), heading toward the voice. "And what a lovely name it calls. If only it were calling me!" She was walking through a forest, and chanced upon a clearing. There was a HUGE table laid out, and various people sitting around. "Welcome to the Power Tea, Eyestar," someone called, and she found herself sitting at the table. On the table were items and items - items to read, items to review, items to participate in ... items needing co-ordinators and items needing prizes. Unable to choose, Mona pulled all of them to her. Soon, she was reading, reviewing, co-ordinating and handing out prizes. She became the maddest, most celebrated member of the Power Tea. Chapter 3: The Queen Now, the only thing left was for Mona to meet the Queen of WDC-land. The Queen of WDC-land owned many, many cats, so Mona had to walk through many smiling felines as she entered the Queen's boudoir. Some of the cats climbed trees and smiled at Mona. Some smiled so hard that only their smiles were visible after a while - all smile and no cat to be seen. When she reached the Queen, the Queen was designing MBs. "What lovely pictures she makes!" Mona thought. Only, she didn't just think. She said it aloud. The Queen, not realising that someone was behind her, was startled. She turned and saw Mona. "Eyestar!" she said, joyfully. "You're here at last. Let's have a game of ... of ...." "... Of Cramping," Mona suggested. "Or maybe Madlibbing, or In-and-Outing, or ..." "Let's start with Cramping," the Queen ordered. So they Cramped and Cramped till they were tired. Then, the Queen went to Court and turned some black cases to yellow. "We'll do the yellow to blue tomorrow, I'm tired now," she yawned, and fell asleep right there in court. Mona, who was tired too, found her eyes closing. Tomorrow, she would Madlib, In-and-Out, Interact, C-Note and have a whole lot more adventures in WDC-land! |
