At home in Thailand we do something similar. At home, we make rice and top it with whatever we didn't finish from the last meal.

I finally decided to use June 2022's entries for my responses to other bloggers' entries. I tend to do this daily anyways and post in my weekly 'catch-all' blog (added to every day} "Porthole" .

Well, if I have bruised you, I sincerely apologize. It definitely wouldn't have been on purpose. It does hurt me when all Christians are described as being intolerant and hateful.

I'd prefer to associate more with kind, loving people too.

🌻 pwheeler ~ love joy peace In rereading my post, it does seem harsh. But... I was deeply scarred growing up. And... people still bruise me (unwittingly and on purpose).

Either act like a _____ or stop calling yourself one... could be applied to many labels we attach to ourselves. Many individuals are a good _____ in some ways but still need to work on themselves (a work in progress). That applies to old geezers like me as well. I keep learning most every day (traveling helps).

It's not fair to divide humanity and attach labels (ying/yang is a good way to present the notion that discrete black/white is an illusion). BUT...

I'd prefer to associate more with kind loving people. I meet them everywhere I go.

"Every day is special... to someone. " True, and I like that.

Not all Christians have the negative characteristics you associate with them. Some are truly living what Jesus Christ preached - a life of loving God and others. I'll call these people true Christians. They aren't perfect, but their intentions should be clearly those of loving kindness and not hate.

I wish that those who claim to be Christians but are not acting in a loving way would either repent and become loving, or realize that they aren't actually Christians at all and stop contributing to t his false impression of true Christians.

𝓦𝓮𝓫W𝓲𝓽𝓬𝓱 My traumas are small, my tragedies not unique... but they're mine (can't even give them away). My need to write and journal stems from unresolved issues. But... once the pen or pencil is put on a piece of paper... thoughts and images become words. That's the real power of writing. Where my words end up is not up to me. I think of old diaries... what a pleasure it would be to read them.

I wonder what I'll write about next year.

Kåre เลียม Enga Your entries are filled with deeply personal discoveries, and coping with loss along the way. It paints a huge picture of your life page after page.

I'm still in awe of how much you have been able to accomplish in spite of the traumas and tragedies. I believe your words will live on.

Thank you for entries in the June Blogging contest. They had a way of gripping us readers in a profound way. I agree about the tagging in the entries. It made it so much easier to find and to respond quicker.
