Was this a contest? I ask because the instructions for the blank was a strong descriptive interesting word int the blank. I can think of a list of words that would be more so that few. Just saying. I love the poem.

A small seed
Dropped on rough surface.
No rain fell.
So it didn't grow.

In late summer,
Rain began to fall.
It becomes a jasmine tree.
Her floral scent obsessed us.
